Connect your extender to a wall outlet within 20 feet of your router. Wait for the power LED to turn solid.
On your phone or computer, open WiFi settings and connect to the extender's default network name shown on the device label.
Open a web browser and go to mywifiext.net, or type 192.168.1.1 into the browser's address bar.
Enter the default username and password (shown on your device label or in the manual). You will be prompted to set a new password on first login.
Click 'New Extender Setup' or 'Setup Wizard'. The extender will scan for nearby WiFi networks automatically.
Choose your home WiFi network from the list of detected networks. Select the correct SSID.
Type your router's WiFi password carefully. The extender will verify and confirm the connection.
Use the same name as your router (recommended for seamless roaming) or create a new SSID. Click Apply/Save.
Move the extender to the midpoint between your router and the area with poor signal. The signal LED confirms reception quality.
On your devices, switch to the extended network. Enjoy improved WiFi coverage throughout your home.
Always check the extender's signal LED after placement — green means strong signal, amber means acceptable, red means too far from your router. Keep firmware updated for best performance.
